What are Sundays like?
There is live teaching and live worship. Our teaching pastors share expository sermons that take us into the Word of God on a deep but practical level.
Our worship services (9:15 & 11 AM) are identical and include a blend of newer music, traditional hymns, and contemporary worship songs. Sign language interpretation is available at the 9:15 am service.
We have communion on the first Sunday of each month.
Where should I park?
Look for guest or handicap spots near the Worship Center.
Where do I take my students?
How do I get baptized?
If you’re ready to publicly profess your faith in Christ, please complete this online form and we will contact you with more information.
What should I wear?
You will see everything from ties to casual clothes here at the First Church of the Nazarene. We know that God is more concerned with a person’s heart than their clothes, so dress in a way that makes you comfortable.
Where do I take my children on Sunday?
How do I become a member?
Have you accepted Christ as your Savior? Are you ready to commit to growing in Christ and encouraging others here at the First Church of the Nazarene? If so, we would love for you to become a member.
Though not required, we recommend that those interested in membership attend Discovering the First Church of the Nazarene to learn more about our history, beliefs, and ministries.
In order to become a member, a membership application and elder interview is required. This will give you the opportunity to share your personal testimony with us so that we can learn how to love and support you best. To learn more: membership@cumberlandnaz.org
How can I request prayer?
On Sunday mornings, prayer partners are also available by the stage to pray with you at the end of the services.
